New Audi R8 Sportscar Test Mule Caught at the Nurburgring

That there will be a road-going R8 is no surprise. Audi boss Dr. Martin Winterkorn has alluded to it several times, and the company has put out a press release of its official ‘R8’ nomenclature. There’ve been several mules spotted since that time, from an A6-bodied beast to a production-looking X-files style shot from far away and through a fence. Then today, Audi decided to give more than a peak by running this black polka-dot liveried mule around the Nurburgring.

おーっ、ドット柄が結構遊んでますね。最初からスパイフォトを撮られることを意識しているのが面白い。カメラマンもそれを承知で互いに楽しんでいる模様。(^^)
LeMans quattro ほぼそのマンマのようです。エンジンはRS4搭載の V8 と、S6搭載の V10 ということらしい。いずれも直噴のFSI仕様。
ベースで95,000ユーロ。。。。ってことは日本円で。。。1,343,71613,437,160円(2006.3.29 12:19現在のレートで計算)ですって。意外とリーズナブル？ もちろん手が出まへん。(^^；；
