McNish/Ortelli finished 2nd at LMES 1000 km at Nürburgring

Shimoda even survived a stop-go penalty in the early stages to hit the front for the first time at the 35 lap mark, and from then on the race, which went the full six hours on time, was a thrilling three-way battle between the Zytek, the Audi Playstation Team Oreca Audi R8 of Allan McNish and Stephane Ortelli, and the Creation Autosportif team DBA 04S Judd of Nicolas Minassian and Jamie Campbell-Walter.
