DTM: First Public Appearance of the New Audi A4 DTM

Premiere for the new Audi A4 DTM: During the official DTM tests at Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium), Audi unveils the successor of the DTM winning car for the first time in public. For two days, Audi works driver Martin Tomczyk will collect valuable data with the new race car for the Belgian round of Europe’s most popular Touring Car series which will be held on May 15.

いよいよＤＴＭの季節到来ですね。New A4 のDTM仕様は外見以上に中身も煮詰められているようです。低中速でのトルクアップとか、それとか、あれとか。(^^ゞ
シングルフレーム化に伴う空力パーツの見直しが必要だったようですね。思わぬところで余計な設計変更があったわけですね。全体的にドライバーに優しい「乗り物」に仕上がったようです。Audiのレーシングカーは、世間一般が想像するよりも遥かに乗用車寄りだとか。１度でいいからハンドル握ってみたい。(^^；
