Paffett scores start-finish victory at Shanghai

Gary Paffett was the beaming winner of the DTM’s exhibition race in China. The Briton pulled off a magnificent start-finish triumph in his AMG-Mercedes C-Class on the 2.84 kilometre-long street circuit in Shanghai for an advantage of 0.887 seconds over his team mate Bernd Schneider. Mattias Ekstrom came third in an Audi A4 DTM with a masterful display of his driving skill.

結局、Gary Paffett/C-Klasse AMG Mercedes が一度も首位を譲ることなく Pole to Win したようで。う〜ん、残念です。３位までの結果は下記の通り。
1位 Gary Paffett/C-Klasse AMG Mercedes
2位 Bernd Schneider/Vodafone/DC Bank AMG Mercedes
3位 Mattias Ekstrom/Audi Sport Team Abt

何やらマンホールの蓋が外れて Maylander/AMG-Mercedes CLK にぶち当たったようです。安全の為に溶接してマンホールの蓋を固定し、時間切れで第１レースは無効になったようです。しかし溶接とは。。。。今後、マンホールの中へはどうやって。。。。
